It might shock you to hear this, but there are actually quite a few people out there who have never sat on a rug before in their life. That’s mostly due to the reason that rugs are relatively luxurious commodities, and anyone that uses them likely had a reasonable level of privilege that allowed them to get to where they are today. If you are one of the unlucky few who have not been blessed with the transcendent experience of sitting on a rug, you might not know all that much about carpet cleaning either at the end of the day.

There are a few steps that are involved in carpet cleaning, and some of those steps need to be performed much more frequently than others. For example, removal of debris is a cleaning step that you should take part in at least once a week and it can be done up to three times a week as well. You can use a brush to get rid of this debris, but suffice it to say that a vacuum cleaner is on a whole other plane of existence since it is a great deal more convenient.

The other steps need to be done less frequently, such as steam cleaning. Steam cleaning is great because of the fact that it allows you to kill microbes in the rug thanks to the high temperature. On top of all of that it also enables you to freshen your rug up by going deeper than the surface fibers and cleaning parts of the carpet that are at the very bottom layer which you can’t get to through any other means so steam cleaning is the best option.
